Dr Finikias (Nik) Rugara

Dr Nik is a dedicated General Practitioner with a broad interest in all aspects of general practice, with a particular focus on skin cancer detection and management. He is a Fellow of General Practice and is currently completing a Diploma in Skin Cancer Management (2026).  He also holds a Certificate in Cosmetic Injectables and a Master of Public Health, reflecting his commitment to both clinical excellence and preventative healthcare.

Dr Nik enjoys the diversity of general practice and values building long-term relationships with his patients, providing comprehensive, patient-centred care across all stages of life. Having lived in Australia since 2005, he considers it home and appreciates the lifestyle and community it offers.

Outside of medicine, he enjoys basketball and is a passionate supporter of the Golden State Warriors.
He is a proud father of three, with two children in primary school and one in high school, and understands the importance of family-oriented care.
