Dr Emmanuel Anthony

Dr Emmanuel Anthony is an Australian trained specialist general practitioner. Prior to working as a GP he gained experience in adult emergency medicine and intensive care medicine at The Alfred and Monash Health and paediatric emergency medicine at Monash Children’s ED. He enjoys all aspects of general practice and has special interests in workplace injury recovery management, having gained the Certificate in Occupational Medicine from Monash University; and psychological medicine, where he holds a Graduate Certificate in Counselling.

His other clinical area of focus is doctors’ health: he is a crisis counsellor with the Victorian Doctors’ Health Program and is a graduate of Stanford University Medical School’s Physician Wellbeing Director Course.

Outside of his clinical work, he is passionate about medical governance and has been appointed to the Australian Medical Council’s Specialist Education Accreditation Committee and has been elected to the RACGP’s Victorian State Council.
